Lameness

Dr. Seale is highly skilled in evaluating lameness and subclinical performance issues in both performance and pleasure horses. He combines gait analysis, flexion/stress evaluation, local anesthesia, radiology, and utrasonography to diagnose most causes of lameness and/or poor performance.

Garner Equine, in partnership with Animal Imaging, Inc. of Irving,TX, also offers referral MRI, Nuclear Scintigraphy, and radiology consultation by a board certified radiologist to further aid in diagnosis of certain lameness conditions.  Once a diagnosis is established, we offer a wide array of therapeutic options to get your horse back to peak performance.  These include, but are not limited to, routine joint injections, IRAP , PRP, extracorporeal shock wave therapy (ESWT), regenerative stem cell therapy, arthroscopic and soft tissue surgery, and customized rehabilitation plans that offer the safest route to a speedy and full recovery.
