Circle Star Ranch

Circle Star Ranch, owned by Cecil and Sheila Rhodes, located in Pontotoc in the northeast corner of Mason County is our client to highlight this month.
Circle Star Ranch strives to have a breeding program that produces the foundation for World Champions to be made.
The combination of the ranch’s resident stallions and their hand selected broodmares are proving to be hard to beat in the arena.  They have many titles under their belt, some of which are 2008 World Champion Jr Heading and Open All Around won by “Look At Her Glow”.
“Freckles Fancy Jake”, Circle Star Ranch’s handsome stallion was the 2007 AQHA High Point Stallion and earner of 580+ points in eight different events. This athletic stallion earned over 100 points in his first 100 days in the show pen.  “Jake” is now settled into his breeding career with multiple AQHA point earners currently to his credit.
Driftin Hancock Bar is another Circle Star Ranch stallion.  “Hank” won the 2007 PHBA World Championship and the AQHA Superior Tie-down roping Championship.
While Cecil’s main focus is the performance horses, he is also involved in their halter program.  Some of the most recent accomplishments are “Entrepreneurs Touch” taking Amateur Reserve World Champion in the two year old stallion class and AQHA Select World Show Reserve Champion.
The latest excitement at Circle Star Ranch is “Big Smoken Otoe”. Know as “Topaz” is making her mark in the PRCA arena.  Tuf Cooper has ridden Topaz to a commanding lead in the tie down calf roping.
We all look forward to seeing Tuf on “Topaz” in Vegas at the National Finals.
Lots of hard work and years of planning go into a successful program like Circle Star has built.
We have enjoyed getting to know Cecil, Sheila, and Kim and look forward keeping your horses working to their full potential. Thank you for entrusting your champions to Garner Equine.
