Lone Star Riders

This month Garner Equine turns the spotlight on The Lone Star Riders. The Lone Star Riders are a member club of the National Association of Riding Clubs & Sheriff Posses. They are based out of Azle, Texas and were officially organized in 2004. The LSR’s are a close knit, family oriented, horse loving organization. They hold playdays once a month with classes divided by age and gender so the entire family can participate in the fun. Some of their speed events include, but are not limited to, Barrels, Poles, Spur, Flags, Golfette, and Pylons. But if speed isn’t your idea of fun the LSR’s still hold events you may enjoy. The club participates in parades and holds trail rides where all are welcome. The Riders are an all-around riding group that has something for every level rider and type of horse lover to enjoy. If you are interested in joining this club all you have to do is simply go to their website (lonestarriders.tripod.com), fill out a member application, and let the fun begin!
